I couldn't be happier that we ended up with Homestyle, and my only regret is that I can't go back in time and have them care for me for my first daughter's birth as well! Yeshi and Cynthia are very special people and have created a unique and wonderful environment for the whole experience of pregnancy, labor and birth, and early parenthood. For me, the most important aspect of their approach is their belief that any birth can be a beautiful birth. They took the time to get to know us as people, not just patients-- to find out our fears, hopes and dreams for labor and birth. I also loved the sense of community they created by bringing together all the parents in our birth month together for the first half of the third trimester. It was an opportunity to prepare emotionally for labor and a new baby in an informal way, and I met some great new folks in my neighborhood who have become friends. We had complete and utter trust that with Yeshi and Cynthia I would receive loving and appropriate care, no matter what kind of birth I had. As a result, we had the kind of birth we had dreamed about!
